The email and spam conflict wont be resolver but trust me when the spammers realise what twitter and facebook is spam will be comming to social network near you and leave you begging for the good old days of email.

Email is commodity twitter and Facebook is novelties and this might mean that when your among the hip hip people everyone will pretend theyr moving on to the new, but that dont mean that something will fade away in the near future, though it looks like email is being acepted as a more formal way of comunication, pushing the informal stuff back unto phones and chat system.

Very interesting. Do we ditch email or improve upon it? This is actually a much bigger question that I initially thought. Twitter and other like services are all about short messages. There still needs to be a method of transmitting large, or long messages. Is that email or something else we haven't seen yet?
