So, YouTube Music is a fine service but… cutting from the end of a curated mix of low fi down tempo minimalist electronica and techno to…

[checks notes]

JOHN COUGAR MELLENCAMP

Franky, wtaf was the product team thinking about segues from “mix” to the audio equivalent of rural NC SWIP’d IP address and /dev/random taste graph or was that simply the lowest price /profitable stream weighted selection?

#dream vignette

- recreated dukes of fast and furious physics defying car jump scene while driving a performance modified 2nd Gen Toyota Prius beater / sleeper car in a… cemetery???
- after the town planners put in deterrence that actually made for even better ramps but after multiple jumps I didn’t succeed on the last landing and a headstone pierced the cladding of battery pack
- vivid wiring, bubbling oozing battery juices, and crispy PCBs but the ICE still cranked

Here’s the vibe… billionaires have access to things nobody else does, yet [1]. Sometimes these are even things that governments and militaries don’t have access to, yet.

Over time, there will be a democratization of things. I’m not 100% clear on the true cost of getting there but that’s not my point.

My main point is digital twins, digital hydras, and things that were science fiction will begin with artifice then approach mildly practical things of some utility.
