Re #substack 🧐

I’m fortunate not to rely on writing my newsletter for a living. I am also fortunate to be able to pay for an alternative to substack after briefly using substack when Revue/Twitter began the downward spiral.

I am also fortunate enough to have free time to work out a means to prepend all substack links referenced in my past newsletter articles with archive.org and up my donations to it.

Not reading my some of my favorite writers on substack will be a loss for writer and reader.

I’ve had my #akamai #linode VPS for such a long time with the same static IPs with great reputations and I even moved to cloud billing… But, I am also thinking about how to use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (#oci) more and using the free VMs it affords me to do the #mastodonadmin work and all these #raspberrypi sitting near me looking for more work to do. 🤔
