Between social media meme proliferation of global en masse pareidolia, increasingly desirable anthropomorphism, generational elicitation of Eliza effects, narrowing uncanny valleys, ubiquitous caste structure projections, metastasizing Magic 8-ball biases, and the inevitable access wider access to precision medicine derived psychotropic drugs, it makes sense to watch Strange Days (1995)… again.

Growing up in a rural North Carolina coastal town with surfers, fishermen, rednecks, and a nearby marine biology research campus was a unique #music index. I cherish my early exposure to live reggae music. Local radio play of Southern fried rock, Rush, and ever present periodic festival beach music was… eclectic. School bus rides with UK punk and heavy metal(devil music!). Before MTV, I still remember being confused that Van Morrison was not Van Halen (yet intertwined in music production value).
